MY WORK

I collaborated with the team at Mission Ingredients to develop a custom section for their website that would showcase the organizations supported by Ellie and her team. The objective was to create a visually appealing design that would effectively display the information that could not be natively achieved on their Squarespace platform. To achieve this, I worked closely with the Mission Ingredients team to conceptualize and design a section that would showcase the relevant information effectively. This involved developing a filtering functionality that would allow users to sort through related organizations based on subject matter. Subsequently, I built the custom section, which the team could easily integrate into their existing Squarespace website. The end result was a visually appealing and user-friendly section that effectively showcased the organizations supported by Ellie and her team.

As part of a school project for a class, I collaborated with a team of student software developers to create a Teachers Assistant Scheduling App. Our objective was to improve the existing method of communication for TAs, which solely relied on email and often failed to provide sufficient information about the classes. To achieve this, we utilized Django, a high-level Python web framework, to develop the app. Our team implemented authentication for an admin, teacher, and TA to log in, with each login providing access to specific information based on their roles. This allowed users to view classes and students assigned to them, providing them with relevant and accurate information. Throughout the project, our team adopted an organized approach by holding daily scrums and going through a comprehensive design process. This ensured that we met the project requirements and developed an app that fulfilled its intended purpose. In conclusion, our team successfully developed a Teachers Assistant Scheduling App that streamlined communication and improved the scheduling process for TAs, teachers, and administrators.
